Stefan Holzmüller

Stefan Holzmüller (1949-2010) est né à Karlsruhe et a grandi à Grötzingen, en Allemagne. Après un apprentissage de potier, il obtient, en 1973, le titre de maître à l’École technique de céramique de Landshut ainsi qu’une distinction de la fondation Danner-Stiftung. À partir de 1979, il vit et travaille à Grötzingen, où il développe une œuvre composée de personnages, d’animaux, de hauts-reliefs, de villages miniatures et d’architectures imaginaires modelés en terre cuite.

Ses sculptures procèdent souvent par assemblage d’éléments distincts qui s’agrègent pour composer des ensembles denses et narratifs. Son travail s’ancre dans l’observation du paysage et des éléments naturels de son village, qu’il transforme en mondes poétiques.

Ses œuvres sont conservées à la Collection de l’Art Brut à Lausanne. Son travail a par ailleurs été présenté dans de nombreux musées et institutions, tels que le Musée Würth à Strasbourg et le musée de la Halle Saint-Pierre à Paris. La galerie Ritsch-Fisch SOLTI représente l’œuvre de Stefan Holzmüller dans de nombreux salons internationaux à travers le monde.

Morgane Salmon (née en 1987 à Strasbourg)

Morgane Salmon est une artiste strasbourgeoise qui pratique la céramique depuis l’âge de huit ans. Elle s’installe dans son atelier à Strasbourg en 2012 sous le nom d’Heurgothique et expose régulièrement, depuis 2007, ses céramiques et ses aquarelles. Son travail se développe à partir d’un vocabulaire de motifs stylisés et colorés, issu d’une observation attentive des formes du vivant et d’une imagination qui en amplifie la richesse ornementale.

Ses céramiques se caractérisent par une profusion de formes, de couleurs et de détails inspirés des mondes végétal et animal. Son univers foisonnant se compose de pièces multicolores dans lesquelles les motifs naturels sont librement réinterprétés et transformés.

En 2024, son travail a fait l’objet d’une monographie publiée par les éditions L’Atelier contemporain, présentée à l’occasion de sa première exposition à la galerie Ritsch-Fisch SOLTI à Strasbourg. Morgane Salmon a exposé au musée de la Halle Saint-Pierre à Paris, ses œuvres sont présentes dans de prestigieuses collections à Paris, Monaco, Genève et Strasbourg.

Stefan Holzmüller (1949–2010) was born in Karlsruhe and grew up in Grötzingen, Germany. After training as a potter, he earned his Master Craftsman diploma from the Landshut Technical School of Ceramics in 1973 and received an award from the Danner Foundation. From 1979 onwards, he lived and worked in Grötzingen, where he developed a distinctive body of work comprising figures, animals, high-reliefs, miniature villages, and imaginary architectural forms modelled in terracotta.

His sculptures are often constructed through the assemblage of individual elements that coalesce into dense, richly narrative compositions. Rooted in close observation of the landscape and natural environment of his native village, his work transforms familiar forms into poetic, imaginary worlds.

His works are held in the collection of the Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne. They have also been exhibited in numerous museums and institutions, including the Musée Würth in Strasbourg and the Halle Saint-Pierre Museum in Paris. Ritsch-Fisch SOLTI Gallery represents the work of Stefan Holzmüller at major international art fairs worldwide.

Morgane Salmon is a French artist based in Strasbourg who has been working with ceramics since the age of eight. In 2012, she established her studio in Strasbourg under the name Heurgothique. Since 2007, she has regularly exhibited her ceramic works and watercolours. Her practice is rooted in a visual vocabulary of stylised, vividly coloured motifs, derived from close observation of living forms and enriched by an imagination that amplifies their ornamental complexity.

Her ceramics are distinguished by an abundance of forms, colours, and intricate details inspired by the plant and animal worlds. Her exuberant universe is composed of multicoloured works in which natural motifs are freely reinterpreted and transformed.

In 2024, her work was the subject of a monograph published by L’Atelier contemporain, released on the occasion of her first solo exhibition at Ritsch-Fisch SOLTI Gallery in Strasbourg. Morgane Salmon has exhibited at the Halle Saint-Pierre Museum in Paris, her works are held in prestigious private and public collections in Paris, Monaco, Geneva, and Strasbourg.
