BIOGRAPHY

Eugène Von Bruenchenhein was born in July 1910 in Wisconsin. At the age of 7, he lost his mother and lives alone with his father. Early on he worked both as baker, florist and grocer in Milwaukee. He has got an innate artistic talent in fact his artwork is considerable with paintings, sculptures and photographs. It’s the practice of photography that will give him his fame.
In 1943, he married Eveline Kalke he renamed Marie. She becomes his muse, his most beautiful inspiration. The artist depicts his wife thanks to sceneries and costumes. It’s a work of patience but above a work of love for his muse. It’s an obsessional work in search of perfection. His artwork is discovered after his death. It is a love celebration for his love story with Marie.
